Odissi Classical Dance workshop
22 November, 10 am - 2pm

Come explore the joy of Indian classical dance through the graceful and vibrant style of Odissi.
Odissi is one of the oldest surviving dance styles, with roots tracing back to ancient temple rituals and sculptures.

It evolved from the dances performed by Maharis (temple dancers) who dedicated their life to offering dance as a ritual prayer in the temples.
With Grace and Sculpture-like Poses, Odissi is known for its fluid grace, lyrical movement, and poses inspired by temple sculptures.
